About what? Me? Kelly Erin Leger…also known as Queenie…mother to five.  My three girls are here with me on earth and my two boys are in heaven.  I am an outspoken bossy wife to a traveling oil salesman.  I am a daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, godmother, niece, and cousin.  I am a damn good friend. The kind who will show up on your doorstep unannounced, open your bottle of wine and let you ugly cry it out.  And I will lock our kids in the bedroom for you to do so.  The kind who will ask to borrow your credit card because I lost my wallet and I don’t have time to look for it.  And I will loan you my credit card when you lose yours. The kind who will cook you supper and deliver it to you in car line and also tell you to cook your own freaking supper because I’m busy too!  I’ll hold your hand, hold your hair, hold your beer, hold your earrings and hold your secrets.  Sometimes all at the same time.

I am a bible reading, quoting and highlighting daughter of the Lord….but good gracious almighty am I a work in progress!  Thank goodness His mercies are new every day and His graces never run out.

I am a Bachelor’s degree carrying, skilled drapery seamstress and expert fabric picker outter.  The fact that my degree is in Public Relations is neither here nor there.

I believe that I can solve any problem from my front porch swing.  Or from my beach chair.  Or the balcony overlooking the beach.  I love coffee. Oh my word how I love coffee. I love drinking coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach.  I love “The Young and the Restless”, goblet pleats, the first college football game day of the season, covered buttons, all things honey, Friday nights, and a good jitterbug.  I really love the day after the Super Bowl and the five months that follow it.  I really, really love George Strait and I truly believe that one day he will leave Norma for me and my husband will be okay with it.  I think that THE most magical 7 hours of the whole year are from 3:00-10:00 pm Christmas Eve.  And chocolate.  I really, really, really love chocolate.
